The brain continually reorganizes itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. This phenomenon is known as neuroplasticity.
When we make small changes in our parenting, we can connect with our kids brains in healthy ways that change the quality of life for our families. Connecting before correcting and responding instead of reacting can literally heal and repair the brain from adverse childhood experiences. What gets broken in relationship gets healed through relationship.
My goal is to empower parents who have vulnerable children. A collaborative approach to parenting is used, in addition to parenting education and providing resources, tools, support and guidance tailored to address the challenges of each individual familiy I work with.
