I’m a wife and mom of 5 kids, ages 7-24. My husband, our 2 biological sons and I have been a foster and adoptive family for 13 years.
In addition to my personal experience and education, I have 30 years of professional experience and I'm certified in Parent and Family Coaching and Certified Enneagram Coach
The brain continually reorganizes itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. This phenomenon is known as neuroplasticity.
When we make small changes in our parenting, we can connect with our kids brains in healthy ways that change the quality of life for our families. Connecting before correcting and responding instead of reacting can literally heal and repair the brain from adverse childhood experiences. What gets broken in relationship gets healed through relationship.
